Die 9-köpfige Band, die aus einer All-Star-Besetzung von Rockern aus Cleveland, OHIO, besteht, wurde vor vielen Jahren aus einer Weihnachtsfeier heraus geboren und ist ein 9-köpfiges Kollektiv, das mit elektrischen und akustischen Gitarren, Mandolinen, Klavieren, Hackbrettern, Schlagzeug und Glocken bewaffnet ist. Die Ohio City Singers veröffentlichen ihr Album Snow Days zum ersten Mal in Europa auf Hoboville Records. 

Comprised of an all-star cast of Cleveland, OHIO rockers, the 9-piece band was born out of a Christmas party many years ago and is a 9-piece collective armed with armed with electric and acoustic guitars, mandolins, pianos, dulcimers, drums and bells. The Ohio City Singers will be releasing their album Snow Days in Europe for the first time on Hoboville Records.

Die "Ohio City Singers" sind ein All-Star-Kollektiv, bestehend aus neun Rockmusikern aus Cleveland, OH. Die Band wurde vor vielen Jahren aus einer Weihnachtsfeier heraus geboren und ist seitdem mit elektrischen und akustischen Gitarren, Mandolinen, Klavieren, Hackbrettern, Schlagzeug und Glocken bewaffnet.

Mit einer Reihe von jährlichen, energiegeladenen Shows haben sich die "Ohio City Singers" in ihrer Heimatstadt als feste Größe in der Weihnachtszeit etabliert.

Die 12 neuen Songs auf dem zweiten Album  "Snow Days" garantieren erneut temperamentvollen Weihnachtsspaß.

Songwriter Chris Allen über den Sound der Band: "Unsere Intension ist der Klang von Liebe und Lachen, wenn eine Weihnachtsfeier bis spät in die verschneite Nacht hinein aus dem Ruder läuft."

Produziert und aufgenommen wurde das Album von Don Dixon, Produzent von legendären Bands wie "The Smithereens" und "REM" sowie Autor des Joe Cocker Hits "I Can Hear the River". Dixon sagte über die Ohio City Singers:  "Dies ist eine Rockband, deren einziger Grund für ihre Existenz die Weihnachtstage sind. Ihre musikalische Anziehungskraft erstreckt sich über Generationen und spricht sowohl Kinder, Eltern und Großeltern an.


The Ohio City Singers are an all-star collective consisting of nine rock musicians from Cleveland, OH. The band was born out of a Christmas party many years ago and has been armed with electric and acoustic guitars, mandolins, pianos, dulcimers, drums and bells ever since.

With a series of annual, high-energy shows, the "Ohio City Singers" have established themselves as a fixture in their hometown during the Christmas season.

The 12 new songs on the second album "Snow Days" guarantee spirited Christmas fun once again.

The album was produced and recorded by Don Dixon, producer of legendary bands such as "The Smithereens" and "REM" and writer of the Joe Cocker hit "I Can Hear the River". Dixon said of the Ohio City Singers, "This is a rock band whose sole reason for existence is Christmas. Their musical appeal spans generations and appeals to children, parents and grandparents alike.
