RELIQUIAE melden sich nach 6 Jahren mit einem neuen Studioalbum zurück!

Paranoia ist das bisher härteste und metallastigste Werk der Band – eine konsequente Weiterentwicklung nach „Babylon“ (2019) und dem klassisch geprägten Intermezzo „gestrichen“ (2022). 

Drums und Gitarren treiben nach vorne und das Tempo hat merklich angezogen, ohne den unverkennbaren, cleanen Gesang von Bastus aus dem Mittelpunkt zu verdrängen. Gemeinsam mit Dudelsack, Nyckelharpa, Drehleier und Geige entstehen vielschichtige Melodien, die dennoch ihr Ohrwurmpotenzial beibehalten. So entstehen nicht nur Kopfnicker und
tanzbare Parts, sondern auch nachdenkliche, düsterere.

Mit Producer Simon Michael (Producer von u.a. Feuerschwanz, Drummer bei Subway to Sally) wurde das Beste aus den Songs herausgeholt und elaborierte Klangwände erzeugt.

Paranoia überzeugt jedoch nicht nur musikalisch. Auch textlich hat das Album Tiefe. 

Genau die richtige Scheibe um das 15-jährige Jubiläum der Band gebührend zu feiern!

RELIQUIAE are back after 6 years with a new studio album!
Paranoia is the band's heaviest and most metal-heavy work to date - a consistent further development after ‘Babylon’ (2019) and the classically influenced intermezzo ‘gestrichen’ (2022). 

Drums and guitars drive forward and the tempo has picked up noticeably without displacing Bastus' unmistakable clean vocals from centre stage. Together with bagpipes, nyckelharpa, hurdy-gurdy and violin, they create multi-layered melodies that still retain their catchy tune potential. The result is not only head-nodders and
danceable parts, but also thoughtful, darker ones.
With producer Simon Michael (producer of Feuerschwanz, drummer for Subway to Sally, among others), the best was brought out of the songs and elaborate walls of sound were created.
However, Paranoia is not only musically convincing. The album also has depth lyrically.
Just the right disc to celebrate the band's 15th anniversary in style!
