JOHAN KIHLBERG'S IMPERA sind zurück mit ihrem bisher härtesten Album. 

Bereits alle Alben zuvor waren einzigartig in der Art und Weise wie Kihlberg seine Freunde aus der internationalen Rock- und Metal Community zusammenbrachte, um den Songs die nötige Magie zu verleihen. 

Auf “Spirit of Alchemy” sind es nun keine Geringeren als Bassist John Levén (Europe) und der renommierte Schlagzeuger Snowy Shaw (King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Sabaton), welche Kihlberg beim neuen Album verstärken. Der kraftvolle Gesang wird von Jonny Lindkvist von “Nocturnal Rites” beigesteuert, während Lars Chriss von “Lion's Share” erneut die Gitarrenparts einspielte.

JOHAN KIHLBERG'S IMPERA ist die Idee des in Stockholm geborenen Schlagzeugers Johan Kihlberg, der die Band 2011 gründete. Zuvor war er bereits über 30 Jahre lang im Musikgeschäft tätig und arbeitete gemeinsam mit Mitgliedern von legendären Acts wie “Kiss”, “Thin Lizzy”, “Europe”, “Rainbow” und “Mötley Crüe”. 

"Spirit of Alchemy” ist ein Album voller Entschlossenheit welches sowohl älteren als auch jüngeren Fans gefallen und die Karriere von JOHAN KIHLBERG'S IMPERA auf die nächste Stufe heben wird.

All previous albums were already unique in the way Kihlberg brought together his friends from the international rock and metal community to give the songs the necessary magic touch. 

On "Spirit of Alchemy" it is now none other than bassist John Levén (Europe) and renowned drummer Snowy Shaw (King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Sabaton) who reinforce Kihlberg on the new album. Powerful vocals are contributed by Jonny Lindkvist of Nocturnal Rites, while Lars Chriss of Lion's Share once again recorded the guitar parts.

JOHAN KIHLBERG'S IMPERA is the brainchild of Stockholm-born drummer Johan Kihlberg, who founded the band in 2011. Johan has spent over 30 years in the music business, working with members of legendary acts such as "Kiss", "Thin Lizzy", "Europe", "Rainbow" and "Mötley Crüe".
