Nach 11 Jahren Bandhistorie, diversen Alben und Singles, einigen Studioaufenthalten und dem plötzlichen Stillstand aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie, wurde es Zeit für ein neues Kapitel der Punkrocker aus Deutschlands hohem Norden.

"Wir nutzen den Stillstand um unser eigenes Studio zu bauen und ebneten den Weg für unsere erste, eigene Albumproduktion. Eine wilde Zeit, mit Höhen und Tiefen, allerdings auch ideal, um aus genau diesen Zeiten, Ideen und Inhalte für neues Material zu schaffen.”

Die Songauswahl ist im klassischen Drunken Swallows Stil. Schnelle, harte Gitarrenriffs, aber auch sanfte Töne, quasi für jeden wieder etwas dabei. Besonders daran und auch neu ist, dass die Drunken Swallows für alles, was auf diesem Album zu hören ist, allein verantwortlich sind, denn es gab keinen externen Produzenten, der zwar in der Vergangenheit immer gut war, aber natürlich auch seine Note mit einbrachte.

Von den ersten Baumaßnahmen des Studios, bis hin zum finalen Schliff des Albums: Alles geben, nicht aufgeben und immer schön das Herz aufmachen und voll aufdrehen. Diese Einstellung war es, die die Drunken Swallows diesen Weg gehen ließ und uns seit Beginn dieser Ära begleitet.

Nach wie vor haben die Jungs Dinge in der Pipeline, die jedes Punkrock Herz höher schlagen lassen.

Herzlaut" is definitely the heart work of the Drunken Swallows!

After 11 years of band history, various albums and singles, some studio stops and the sudden standstill due to the Corona pandemic, it was time for a new chapter of the punk rockers from Germany's far North.

"We used the downtime to build our own studio and paved the way for our first, own album production. A wild time, with ups and downs, however also ideal to create ideas and content for new material from exactly these times."

The song selection is in the classic Drunken Swallows style. Fast, hard guitar riffs, but also soft tones, virtually something for everyone. What is special about it and also new is that the Drunken Swallows are solely responsible for everything, that can be heard on this album, because there was no external producer, who was always good in the past, but of course also brought his touch.

From the first construction of the studio, to the final polish of the album: give everything, do not give up and always open your heart and turn it up all the way. It was this attitude that made the Drunken Swallows go this way and has been with us since the beginning of this era.

Still the guys have things in the pipeline that make every punk rock heart beat faster.
