Andy Brings ist schon lange im Musikgeschäft unterwegs. Seine musikalische Geschichte führt von Sodom über The Traceelords, Powergod und Double Crush Syndrome bis zu seinen Solo Projekten und einem legendären Auftritt der Andy Brings Band im ZDF Fernsehgarten im Sommer 2019. Die 11 neuen Songs entstanden in den Rockaway Studios in Castellon de la Plana bei Valencia unter der Ägide des legendären Produzenten Uwe Hoffmann (Die Ärzte, Sportfreunde Stiller u.a.) der spontan noch einmal die Lust verspürte der Andy Brings Band ein Album zu produzieren. In der relaxten Atmosphäre an der spanischen Mittelmeerküste entstand so ein Album ohne jegliche Overdubs. Die Gitarren sind traditionell im Panorama angelegt. Nur dass man sich eben gegönnt hat, diese jeweils durch 5 (!) aufgerissene Halfstacks zu schieben. Eine einzigartige Fusion aus NDW und hartem, auf den Punkt gespielten, echten Rock'n'Roll. Es war laut, es wurde Luft bewegt. Hier regiert der schiere Bock an der Sache. Und das sollte zu hören sein. Wer es nicht hört, spürt es. Wer es nicht spürt, ist tot.

Andy Brings has been in the music business for a long time. His musical history leads from Sodom to The Traceelords, Powergod and Double Crush Syndrome to his solo projects and a legendary appearance of the Andy Brings Band in the ZDF Fernsehgarten in summer 2019. The 11 new songs were recorded at Rockaway Studios in Castellon de la Plana near Valencia under the aegis of legendary producer Uwe Hoffmann (Die Ärzte, Sportfreunde Stiller and others), who spontaneously felt the urge to produce another album for the Andy Brings Band. In the relaxed atmosphere on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, an album was created without any overdubs. The guitars are traditionally laid out in a panorama. The only difference is that they allowed themselves to push them through 5 (!) ripped halfstacks. A unique fusion of NDW and hard, real rock'n'roll played to the point. It was loud, air was moved. Here, the sheer buck of the thing reigned. And that should be heard. If you don't hear it, you feel it. If you don't feel it, you're dead.
